Odaily Planet Daily reports that the U.S. publicly listed company Semler Scientific has announced an increase in the offering size of its convertible preferred notes to $85 million. The company had previously disclosed plans to issue convertible preferred notes with a total principal amount of $75 million through a private placement to qualified institutional buyers, maturing in 2030. Semler Scientific intends to use a portion of the net proceeds from the offering to pay for the costs of the capped call option transactions described below, with the remaining net proceeds used for general corporate purposes, including the purchase of Bitcoin.
