On July 8, BNB Chain is developing a new Layer 1 network aimed at reducing transaction latency to under 50 milliseconds and achieving a throughput of 100,000 transactions per second (TPS).
It will also suppress MEV behaviors—such as sandwich attacks—by eliminating the public mempool (using the TxStream mechanism). Additionally, the new chain will reserve block space for oracles, liquidations, and cross-chain bridges via PriorityLane. The network is scheduled to officially launch its testnet in 2026 to further enhance on-chain performance and scalability.[BlockBeats]
