Uniswap's founder accused Citadel of trying to suppress DeFi developers through the SEC.

On December 4, Uniswap founder Hayden Adams posted on social media that Citadel Securities CEO Ken Griffin is now pushing the U.S. SEC to regulate DeFi protocol developers as centralized intermediaries, following his intervention in Constitution DAO.

Adams said that Citadel has been lobbying behind the scenes for a long time, and satirized its accusation that DeFi cannot be "fairly accessed" as absurd, reflecting the rejection of open source, decentralized liquidity mechanisms by traditional market makers.
