OKG Research suggests that if 15 U.S. states allocate 2% of their annual budget to Bitcoin reserves, it could account for 7.57% of the current Bitcoin circulation. This initiative, driven by states rather than a national strategy, could potentially surpass the global influence of national reserves of gold and oil. Dennis Porter, CEO of Satoshi Action Fund, notes that at least 15 states are planning legislation for 'strategic Bitcoin reserves'. If all 50 states participate, the demand could reach 25.23% of Bitcoin's circulating supply. Currently, U.S. gold reserves account for 23% of the global total, and strategic oil reserves account for 15%.
