Italian energy giant Enel has launched the tokenization of solar panels on the Algorand platform.

Italian green energy company Enel Group has partnered with cryptocurrency wallet provider Conio to announce the launch of a solar panel tokenization product on the Algorand blockchain. This product allows Italian residents to offset their residential electricity bills by owning a share of Enel's solar power generation. Enel will manage the solar panels on behalf of the partial owners and adjust the actual power generation to offset their electricity expenses.
