According to TechFlow news and The Block report, the U.S. SEC has once again postponed its decision on whether to approve the request for listing spot Ethereum ETF options on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). In the documents submitted, the SEC stated that the delay is aimed at conducting further analysis and gathering public opinions, particularly regarding whether the proposed rule changes comply with the requirements of the Securities Exchange Act. The SEC emphasized concerns about the potential impact of the proposal on preventing market manipulation, protecting investors, and ensuring a fair trading system, which fall under the provisions of Section 6(b)(5) of the Securities Exchange Act. This postponement also includes consideration of BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA).
