WorldShards

The $SHARDS token serves as the core resource within the WorldShards web3 economy. Designed as a fair launch token, it has no allocations to the team or investors, ensuring that it remains entirely community-driven. Players can primarily obtain $SHARDS through in-game drops, reinforcing its role as a reward for active participation and engagement within the game world.

Before the Token Generation Event (TGE), players will receive $SHARDS Proxy Tokens, which function the same as $SHARDS and will later be exchangeable on a one-to-one basis once the TGE occurs. This system allows the in-game economy to operate seamlessly from the start while ensuring a smooth transition into the full token launch.

Although $SHARDS is not tradable within the game or its own marketplace, players have the option to withdraw their tokens through OpenLoot into personal cryptocurrency wallets. Once transferred, these tokens can be freely used in the broader crypto ecosystem for trading, transferring, or other transactions, giving players ownership and flexibility beyond the game itself.
