What is the allocation for Obol(OBOL)?

The total supply is capped at 500 million tokens. The full supply is not immediately circulating and tokens will unlock over the coming months and years.

Ecosystem Treasury & Retroactive Funding (RAF) (35.7%): A significant portion of OBOL tokens is allocated to the ecosystem treasury to support innovation and decentralization. These funds back initiatives like SQUAD Goals, Grants & Incentives for contributors advancing the protocol and the broader Collective, and Retroactive Funding (RAF), which rewards past impactful contributions. Over time, the Obol Association plans to gradually transfer control of these tokens to the community.

Investors (25.4%): Early investors were instrumental in bringing the Obol Collective to life. This allocation ensures they are fairly rewarded for their financial support, following responsible token vesting practices.

Team (16.3%): To attract and retain top-tier talent, a portion of tokens is reserved for core contributors, founders, and developers. This allocation supports the long-term vision of the project and follows a lock-up schedule similar to that of investors.

Community Incentives (12.5%): To drive awareness and adoption of Obol distributed validators, tokens will be used for user-focused initiatives. The first of these is the Obol Incentives Program.

Airdrop (7.5%): As a community-first initiative, Obol rewarded early contributors and supporters through a retroactive airdrop to encourage continued participation and strengthen the decentralized operator ecosystem. More details can be found in the related blog post.

Public Sale via Coinlist (2.7%): To ensure broad and fair distribution, a portion of OBOL tokens was made available through a public sale on Coinlist at more favorable terms than early investors. 50% of purchased tokens are fully unlocked and transferable at TGE, with the remainder released via 12-month linear unlock.

What is the supply schedule for Obol(OBOL)?
