Helium Mobile (MOBILE) is an innovative project that combines blockchain technology with wireless communication to create a decentralized, crypto-powered 5G mobile service. This service is a collaboration between Nova Labs and T-Mobile, designed to leverage Helium’s decentralized network alongside T-Mobile’s infrastructure, enabling the system to switch between the two networks as needed to provide optimal service.
The core of Helium Mobile is built on the Helium Network, a decentralized blockchain-based wireless infrastructure that enables individuals and organizations to deploy and manage wireless networks through token incentivization. By utilizing the Solana Blockchain as its foundation, Helium Mobile aims to revolutionize how mobile networks operate, making them more accessible and user-governed.
Users of Helium Mobile can earn MOBILE tokens as a form of incentive for participating in and contributing to the network, for example, by sharing their location data. This approach not only incentivizes the growth and maintenance of the network but also offers a unique way to reward users directly for their contributions.
In summary, Helium Mobile is a pioneering project that seeks to merge the capabilities of blockchain technology with the needs of modern wireless communication, creating a decentralized, user-incentivized mobile network.

What is the allocation & supply schedule for Helium Mobile(MOBILE) ?
The MOBILE token follows a similar minting schedule to HNT, Helium's original token, with a maximum supply cap of 230 billion MOBILE tokens. At the launch of the Mobile Network, 50 billion MOBILE tokens were pre-mined and allocated to the Network operations fund managed by the Helium Foundation. This initial allocation was also partly distributed during the Genesis period to active Mobile Network Hotspots.
The formal minting of MOBILE tokens began on August 12th, 2022, marking the start of the first year for MOBILE's issuance. The token issuance features halving events every 2 years, aligning with the issuance halvings of HNT. This schedule was established in HIP-53 and has been updated in subsequent Helium Improvement Proposals (HIPs).
During the first year, the emission plan was to mint 110 billion MOBILE tokens. However, the actual emissions are adjusted based on network activities such as data transfer, Proof of Coverage, and contributions from mappers, service providers, and oracles. The distribution of minted MOBILE tokens is allocated towards various network participants, including hotspot data providers (40%), Proof of Coverage participants (20%), mappers (20%), service providers (10%), oracles (4%), and veHNT stakers (6%).
