Digital Currency Group (DCG) has announced the establishment of a new subsidiary, Yuma, which focuses on supporting the development of decentralized artificial intelligence projects based on the Bittensor network. Bittensor is an open-source decentralized protocol that allows users to run AI models by contributing computational power and earn rewards in TAO tokens. Yuma will provide capital, technical resources, and operational support to both startups and established companies developing projects on the Bittensor network. DCG founder Barry Silbert will serve as CEO of Yuma and stated that decentralized AI networks could drive the emergence of more innovative projects in the future. DCG invested in Bittensor as early as 2021 and has supported several decentralized AI companies. (TheBlock)
